Disaster relief

Floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, cyclones, wars and other disasters regularly claim countless victims among both humans and animals. While there are crisis teams, evacuation plans and emergency aid for humans, there is usually nothing for animals. The suffering of animals is omnipresent and is only intensified by crises.

Through our global network with other animal welfare organizations, we usually have the opportunity to act immediately in the event of a disaster and provide financial support or relief supplies to local animal welfare activists, enabling them to begin rescuing animals immediately. If necessary, we dispatch veterinarians or other specialists to the affected areas to provide assistance directly on-site.

For this, we need your support in advance (and continuously), as there is unfortunately little time for fundraising appeals in such cases. Please donate under the keyword ‘Disaster Relief’ so that we can act immediately and without bureaucracy in emergencies.
